We had the privilege of having my sister Jackie
and her family come visit us for a week in September.
We took them to one of our favorite places in Kansas
Deanna Rose Farmstead. It was over 100 degrees
outside the day we went so we were all soaking wet
with sweat by the end of it. Kansas is the hottest place
on earth during the summer so I think they were in
for a shock. I had forgotten how hot it gets here. I
attended an EFY at KU as a kid and remember not even
being able to do my hair because it would just go curly
after being outside for a second. All the memories came
back when we experienced our first hundred degree day
here.

Taylor was so excited her and Abby waited there turn for
the bright pink tractor.

Beckham kept squirting it up at Ally.
The kids looking at Pippy the huge cow.
They have a little movie on milk and such. So we
watched it in the nice cool air conditioning. It felt great.
Beckham and Ally on the big Tractor. This is one of
Beckhams favorites he loves big tractors. He pretends
he's driving them and I usually have to drag him off.

Beckham, Abby, Taylor, and Ally! They were all
having so much fun. Taylor and Beckham were
