Farewell Grandma & Grandpa Gourley

It is that special time of year when the

old timers smarten up and leave this frozen

tundra of a state and fly south to Florida.

They will surely be missed and will return

when the weather warms up next spring.

We had a party at Aunt Peggys house to all

say good bye for this year. Farewell Grandma

and Grandpa. We love you!

Sleepover with Grandma Gourley

Grandpa was out of town so the kids had a
sleepover with Grandma. Always a must at
a sleepover with Grandma is a MOVIE(one of
grandma's old time ones she tapes on cable)
and POPCORN( in mini bowls that she has to
fill up about 100 times during the night).

Sean and I went to see Jim Gaffigan this
weekend at the Orpheum. He was a pretty
funny guy. We snapped a picture of him
afterwards, since cameras weren't allowed
on during the show. Good Time!!

Minnesota Harvest Apple Farm

Saturday we went to the Apple farm
with The Rekstad family. It was a lot
of fun. We went on a couple hay rides,
picked apples, picked out pumpkins, ate
really good food and apple desserts, rode
on the horses, played on the playground,
and who knows what else. The apple farm
always a good time. A childhood memory
for Sean and a yearly tradition for us now.

Riding the Horses.

What really happens during a nap

Taylor decided to style her hair instead of a nap.
She used every bobby pin from a brand new package.
Yesterday during a nap she ate 28 postage stamps.
Who knows what she will do tomorrow she actually
doesn't even take naps anymore she watches a movie
while Beckham and I nap maybe I oughta stop falling asleep.

Bonfire

The Young Men and Women from the ward had

a hay ride and bonfire at our house the other night.

While they were gone we made the bonfire for them

and found out that the only marshmallows we had

were itty bitty ones. So chuckle as you watch my kids

struggle to get the marshmallows on there sticks to

roast. Between Grandma and them they ate the

whole entire bag of yummy little marshmallows.

Not sure how many actually made it onto the sticks

to roast. It took way too long to put them on.

T-rex Restaurant Kansas

This was a great restaurant for anyone who
clicks there heels and follows the yellow brick
road to Kansas. The kids loved it before we
ate (while we waited forever for our table)
the kids got to dig for dinosaur bones. During
dinner there were dinosaurs every where that
would come alive and started moving and roaring.
We had lots of fun and the food was great.

The Galaxy Soccer Game

We went out to Kansas to see the Galaxy Soccer
Game. We were hoping to see David Beckham
play but as it turned out his father had a heart
attack and he was unable to be there. We were
bummed but enjoyed each others company and
we will try again next year to see him. We were
sitting in the 5th row right behind where the
Galaxy team sat. So we had great seats and the
Galaxy won. Check out the video at the end of
the winning goal. Our Beckham made it on camera
a few times during the game in his galaxy soccer gear.

Petting Zoo Olathe, Kansas

A petting zoo park in Olathe Kansas.
They had a cute little bench for the kids to sit on.

An Albino bull or some kind of animal that
is albino.
Dirty nasty pigs, Beckham thought they were great.
